We name model families rather than version numbers, because providers release new versions often. The exact model is shown in the selector inside the app.

These are suggestions to get you started, not benchmark results. If your plan doesn't include the suggested model, use the closest one it does include. The best AI model for you is the one that handles your own material well, so run the same brief on two models and keep the better answer.

AI model comparison on the same brief

Send this request to two models in two new chats, then compare the answers on accuracy, tone and how much editing each one needs.

What to look for when you compare AI models

  • Accuracy Does it stick to the facts you gave it, or add details you didn't?
  • Following instructions Length, format, tone, words to avoid.
  • Language How natural it sounds in English and in Italian.
  • Editing needed How much you change before you'd publish it.
  • Credits used Larger models use more credits for the same amount of text.

How models are counted in your plan

Each plan comes with one balance of credits, added every month (every year on yearly plans). Every model draws on the same balance at its own rate: Standard models use the fewest credits, Premium and Top models use more for the same amount of text. Start with a Standard model for everyday drafts and save the larger models for the work that needs them. The credits in each plan are on the pricing page.

How to switch models

In AI Chat, open the model selector at the top of the conversation and pick a model. The selector shows only the models included in your plan. To compare AI models fairly, send the same message in two new chats, one per model.

Providers and your data

Each request goes to the provider of the model you choose: OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. We access these providers through their business APIs, which don't use your content to train their models by default. We don't use it to train models either. Our AI Transparency Notice and the list of sub-processors, in our legal pages, explain how we choose and manage models and which companies process data for Infinithink.

When models change

We update this page when a provider releases or retires a model that affects a plan, or when we change what a plan includes. Providers retire older models on their own schedule, and when that happens we move the plan to the closest successor before the retirement date.

FAQ

What are the best AI models right now?

There isn't one best model for every task. GPT, Claude and Gemini each do some jobs better than others, and new versions arrive every few months. Use the table above as a starting point, then compare AI models on your own work.

Is Claude better than ChatGPT?

It depends on the task. Claude is often preferred for long documents and careful editing, GPT for quick everyday drafts. In Infinithink you can run the same brief on Claude and on GPT, the models behind ChatGPT, and compare.

How can I compare AI models side by side?

Open two chats, choose a different model in each and send the same message. Compare accuracy, tone and how much editing each answer needs.

Why doesn't my plan include every model?

Larger models cost more to run. Plans group models by cost, so Free and Starter stay affordable and the most capable models come with Business.

Will my plan lose a model?

If a provider retires a model, we replace it with the closest successor in the same plan and update this page.
