A vague request gives a vague answer. The Prompt Generator is an AI prompt generator that takes a simple goal, such as a product launch email or Instagram images for a bakery, and writes five complete prompts you can paste into an AI chat or an image tool.

First it decides whether your goal needs text prompts, image prompts or both. Text prompts give the AI a role, the task, the context, the audience, the format and the limits, with [square brackets] for details only you know. Image prompts describe subject, setting, composition, style, lighting, colors and aspect ratio in one paragraph.

Each prompt sits in its own copyable block with a line on when to use it, and the five differ in angle, format or style. The tool is part of the Everyday tools family and pairs well with the Image Generator.

What you get

  • A first line saying whether the goal calls for text prompts, image prompts or both
  • Five prompts that differ in angle, format or style
  • Each prompt in its own fenced code block, ready to copy
  • A one-line note under each prompt on when to use it
  • Placeholders in [square brackets] for the details you need to fill in

What you fill in

What do you need prompts for? required

Describe the goal and, if useful, the type of tool (text or image), the audience and the style.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Describe the goal in one line

    Write what you want to achieve in the single field, with the audience, channel or style if they matter.

  2. Say text or image if you already know

    If you only need image prompts, or only chat prompts, say so. Otherwise the generator decides.

  3. Choose language and tone

    Pick the output language for the text prompts and the explanations. Image prompts are written in English, which image models follow best, unless your goal asks for another language.

  4. Copy, fill in and test

    Copy a prompt, replace every placeholder with your real details and run it. Try two or three and keep the best.

Example, input and output

Launch email for a new product

Input

What do you need prompts for?
a product launch email for a new reusable water bottle, for existing customers

Output

This goal calls for text prompts, to use in an AI chat or writer.

**1. Announcement email**
```
You are an email copywriter for [brand name]. Write a launch email for our new reusable water bottle, [product name], for customers who have bought from us before. Mention [two key features] and the launch date [date]. Use a friendly, direct tone, a subject line under 50 characters, three short paragraphs and one call to action to [link]. Do not invent discounts or claims.
```
Use it when you want a classic announcement to your whole list.

Illustrative example. Output shortened to the first of the five prompts.

Tips for better results

  • Name the channel in the goal, such as an Instagram feed, LinkedIn or a newsletter, so the prompts include the right format and length.
  • Fill every placeholder before running a prompt, or the answer stays generic.
  • For images, run the same prompt twice and change one detail at a time: the light, the angle or the palette.

Who uses it, and for what

Agencies onboarding a team

Create shared prompt templates with placeholders, so every account manager briefs the AI in the same way.

Teachers

Get prompts for exercises or lesson material, each with a clear role, audience and format.

Limits and good practice

  • The generator writes prompts, not the final content. You still run each prompt in the chat or the image tool and review what comes out.
  • Image prompts avoid brand names and real people by design. If you need your own product in the picture, start from a photo of it instead.
  • A good prompt improves the odds; it does not guarantee the result. Different models respond differently to the same prompt, so test it on the one you use.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI prompt generator?

It is a tool that writes prompts for other AI tools. You give it a goal in plain words, and it returns detailed instructions with a role, the task, the context, the audience, the format and the constraints, or, for images, a precise visual description.

Does it write prompts for images as well as text?

Yes. It first decides whether your goal needs text prompts, image prompts or both. Image prompts describe subject, setting, composition, style, lighting, colors and aspect ratio in one paragraph, ready for the Image Generator or any other image model you use.

Why are the image prompts in English?

Because most image models follow English prompts most closely. The explanations and text prompts are written in the language you choose, while image prompts stay in English unless your goal asks for another language. The note under each prompt tells you when this applies.

What are the words in square brackets?

They are placeholders for details only you know, such as your brand name, a date, a link or a product feature. Replace each one before running the prompt. Leaving them in gives the AI nothing specific to work with, and the answer stays generic.

Can I use the prompts outside Infinithink?

Yes. The prompts are plain text, so you can paste them into the AI chat and image tools on Infinithink or into any other assistant. Each generation uses credits from your plan. See pricing for what each plan includes, or create an account to try it.
